CAROSS Enters the Nordic Market

New Generation of Jump Starters Aims to Make Summer Road Trips Safer

The American tech brand CAROSS is now officially entering the Nordic market with 55.7° North as its exclusive distributor. The timing is no coincidence: Thousands of Nordic motorists are currently preparing for summer road trips, where reliable power and dependable roadside assistance can prove crucial.

When a car refuses to start at a rest stop in Southern Germany, by a ferry terminal in Norway, or outside a summer house in Sweden, there is rarely time for errors, sparks, or unreliable solutions. CAROSS is now officially launching in the Nordics in partnership with the Danish company 55.7° North, with the ambition to raise the standard for modern jump starters, battery chargers, maintenance chargers, and mobile power solutions.

CAROSS has already established an international reputation with robust premium products designed for demanding climates across both North America and Australia. The products are built to deliver stable performance in cold, moisture-prone environments and during major temperature fluctuations — conditions Nordic drivers know all too well, both during long summer road trips and throughout the winter season.

“We are proud to welcome CAROSS into our portfolio,” says Jakob Løye, CEO of 55.7° North, and continues:

“CAROSS is not a newcomer to the market. They are experienced in operating under both extreme cold and extreme heat across Australia and North America. Their patented systems make jump starters easy and safe for everyone to use.”

Focus on Quality and Reliability
Today’s jump starter market ranges from inexpensive emergency solutions to advanced premium products. According to 55.7° North, there is a growing demand in the Nordics for robust, reliable solutions, where temperature fluctuations and long driving distances place greater demands on electronics and battery technology.

CAROSS focuses on high-quality components, dependable jump starters, and intelligent charging and maintenance solutions designed to work the first time — both in demanding climates and for everyday use.

“The Nordics are a market with extremely quality-conscious consumers. Drivers here expect products that perform reliably year-round — not only in the laboratory, but also in real-world conditions,” says Haier Wang, Global Sales Director and co-founder of CAROSS.

“55.7° North shares our focus on quality, safety, and long-term solutions, which makes them the perfect partner for us in the Nordic region.”

One of the technologies that has helped CAROSS gain international recognition is the company’s patented Smart Connect™ system, which makes jump starters more intuitive and safer to use — even for larger gasoline and diesel engines. At the same time, several of the units can be fully recharged in around one hour, significantly faster than many traditional solutions currently on the market.

CAROSS Now Available Across the Nordics
With the introduction of CAROSS, 55.7° North aims to make professional-grade and reliable emergency power and charging solutions more accessible to everyday motorists, motorcyclists, the outdoor segment, and the transportation industry across the Nordic region.
